Amit is a PostgreSQL developer involved with the project for a little over 10 years and has recently been made a committer. He is mainly associated with the work behind table partitioning, though has also worked on areas that do not directly affect that feature.
Born and raised in India, he has spent most of his adult working life in Japan where he also currently lives.
