Daniele has been interested in free software since his university years and has worked professionally with open-source technologies for over 20 years. Python and PostgreSQL have long been among his tools of choice, and he has devoted particular care to making their interface as expressive and robust as possible. He has maintained psycopg2 since 2010 and designed and implemented Psycopg 3 between 2020 and 2022.
When he is not hacking, he enjoys photography and spending time outdoors.
