Daniel is a PostgreSQL major contributor and committer working at Microsoft in the Postgres open source team. Having been an active contributor for well over a decade he has on top of hacking on code, and project websites, organized conferences (FOSDEM PGDay, PGConf.EU and Nordic PGDay); served on the PostgreSQL Europe board; organized user groups and is currently serving on the Slonik Events Canada board. Prior to joining Microsoft he hacked on Greenplum DB at Pivotal and VMware.
